SS and Bidule were a much more pleasant experience this evening.Īgain, I am running XP64SP2, SS 4.5, and using the Bidule x32 install with RME FF800 ASIO. Well, some nice success with the standard VST and VSTi Bidule x32, ver 0.9679 I think, but SS still not happy with VSTi_16 version. I am brand new with Bidule, so I will have to spend some time before I can certain my issues are not just initial ignorance and failure to read and understand.
(That last statement refers to a recent thread I started on this forum that I don't know how to link to at the moment) Attempts to get sound through Bidule failed, although I was successful in patching in the Augustus loop FX version VST & VSTi by () successfully, something not previously achievable as a VSTi in SS. Running RME FF800, and ASIO for audio I/O.Īnyway, with the x32 VSTi, the I/O patch option choices available from a rightclick on the blue triangle were somewhat greyed out, but a track out option was visible, but it was as if I/O was just not activated or something, where, in contrast, a normal VST would have no I/O choice visible at all. The x32 VSTi loaded up without errors like the others ("problem loading file, or problem accessing file, or can't find the libsndfile.dll) - I have more to report of that experience with Bidule32 vs Bidule64 for XP64 and SS, will save that for a second post. Tried the x32 and 圆4 versions of Bidule VST and VSTi, most didn't work.
I am trying just that, I purchased a license yesterday ($75) and got the VST/VSTi as well as standalone. Does anybody use Bidule in SAW as a VSTi with multichannel outputs?
